Partial Trigeminal Rhizotomy

Hi,

I have Multiple Sclerosis and TN and my neurologist mentioned yesterday the possibility of a Partial Trigeminal Rhizotomy. From what I understand people with MS have lesions on the Trigeminal nerve and that's what causes our TN pain, so maybe this procedure works differently for MS patients. My question are, have any of you had this procedure? Has it helped? Also, do you MS and TN?

My High ANA is still in question. Possible to start to have outward signs somewhere down the road. When I had radiation for my cancer, radiologist said some people develop auto immune diseases later down the road. So besides TN, something else can be on the way! Great! What else..... Hope your feeling well, as can be.
